Seal and Heidi end their marriage; Aretha Franklin ends her engagement

Hollywood romance doesn’t need a script to be dramatic.

After 7 years of marriage, Seal and Heidi Klum have decided to split. There are not many Hollywood relationships that I take seriously. Celebrities jump in and out of relationships like clothes. However; I had such a respect for Seal and Heidi. I always loved seeing them together and surely thought they would last. This news came as a shock to me. The couple told PEOPLE magazine:

While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

Maybe they should watch this video of them singing together and rekindle their love…yes I didn’t know Heidi sang either…

I wish them both the best. Maybe they just need a break.

In other news, Aretha Franklin has ended her recent engagement to longtime friend William “Willie” Wilkerson citing that “there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly”. I totally believe that people can find love at almost any age and everyone deserves a companion, but, with all due r-e-s-p-e-c-t, Ms. Franklin is just past the age to be jumping into engagements haphazardly. She’s already been married twice. Well, I hope they work out the things that they didn’t think through.

Love makes you do some crazy things.
